2012 Bushriders Annual General Meeting:
This years AGM is set for the 1st of June 2012 followed by our end of season prizegiving.
Check out the constitution that we propose to vote in place at the AGM. Also you will have received either via email or postal newsletter a nomination form for the prizegiving. Write your nominations in, if any and post to Bushriders, PO Box 1, Pahiatua. Or you can drop them at Bisset Honda or Motorcycle HQ.
Great event run by Huntly, here's the overall and class results with laptimes. Unless you have competed in the BRXC, something you wont have seen in results before is your race progress. With each laptime is your race position for that lap. If you find that the position displayed for a partucular lap is 1 place out, that will be because your transponder was not being picked up due to poor placement. Therefore you lap was entered manually, as in the past, except your lap was entered after the bike that was right on your rear fender at that time. In the 10 events I have competed in with this system, I have never had a transponder not read. Our transponder supplier tells us that in the 10's of 1000's he has sold in the US, he has only found 2 or 3 faulty ones.

Bushriders XC Wrap-up
This final round was on the property of Nic Nelson and Paul Dickens just off the end of Pa Valley rd. We had the usual good junior turnout with a very poor senior lineup. After a false junior start, Motorcycle HQ rider, Scott Sowry grabbed the lead before leaving the start paddock and dominated the whole race lapping all the way upto 5th place for an easy win. Doug Galloway rode a good race to put his Bisset Honda into 2nd ahead of Yamaha rider Daniel Christie. AFC Motorcycles Charlie Richardson romped in for the class win and 5th outright on his 85SX ahead of Martons James Galpin. Taihapes Sarah Elwin had a blinder of a day coming in 7th outright and blitzing the feild of Lady riders.
The Senior race was pretty much dominated by Woodvilles Ben Exeter (Int under) on his CRF250 putting in an extra lap on the rest of the feild. Vet rider Hugh Lintott had 2nd covered from Stacy Smyth in third. Brayden Stephens won the XC1 class on his new Bisset Honda CRF450 and Brendan Kendall was the first XC2 rider to finish. The Intermediate overs was won by Ryan Foothead and Dannevirkes Chris Smyth won the Super Vets.
Congratulations to Hugh Lintott on winning the Senior Overall Cup for the second year running, and to Scott Sowry on winning the Tony Jury Memorial Cup for Junior Overall.
