Thanks for clearing that up Stu, we were not aware that the track was marked two ways. Apologies to all concerned.
stusowry on Tuesday 26 February 2013 - 18:55:26
Well, it seems their was some confusion with the track marking. Assuming we are talking about the hairpin after the second river crossing. Technically no-one cheated. When I took the junior sight lap I never noticed that the track was marked both ways and took the riders the long way. It wasn't till later that I noticed it was marked both ways and lead the seniors the short way. As event organiser, I accept responsibility for it. Had I picked up on it, I would definately lead the juniors up the short way.
waitawhiti on Tuesday 26 February 2013 - 18:03:52
there seems to be a feeling by some riders & parents that some or 2 riders cheated at last XC. show some guts & name them or shut up

A very good day today, Thankyou to those riders that came and supported the first round of the BRXC series. Tomorrow (Sunday) is our annual Xmas Trail ride and I hope that our club members find some time in there busy schedules to come along and lend a hand and share some Xmas spirit. It is completely dissapointing to see such low helper numbers at the events that financially prop up the club. So please come help because at this stage there is a confirmed 4 people to run this day. A special THANKYOU to those folks that did help out at mark out and today. You are most appreciated

As far as I am aware when I filed the permit the profits and costs are to be split down the middle for the event at Flipps. Hopefully will be a good numbers day. Please correct me if I am wrong. Bums on bikes numbers seem to be hitting an all time low of late, perhaps this might be a wee boost for both clubs. If it doesn't work, back to the drawing board. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Love the sport
waitawhiti on Monday 10 December 2012 - 10:15:26
Will MO mcc host a round of their MX champs in Bush to help our numbers.
